Rick Gilbert has served as a member of our board of directors since August 2007. Rick has served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Kineto Wireless, Inc., a wireless technology company, since June 2005. As President and CEO of Kineto, Rick is responsible for setting Kineto's strategic direction and overseeing its rapid growth as the key innovator and leading supplier of UMA technology, the 3GPP standard for fixed-mobile convergence. Prior to joining Kineto, Rick was the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Copper Mountain Networks, Inc., a provider of broadband access products, from April 1998 to May 2005. Prior to Copper Mountain, Rick was the President of ADC Kentrox, one of the fastest growing and most profitable divisions of ADC Telecommunications. Additionally, Rick has held numerous senior management positions with companies that include Make Systems, Vitalink Communications Corporation, and IBM Corporation. Rick holds a M.S. in Computer Science from Stanford University and a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of California at Berkeley. |
