Rick Caylor brings over 20 years experience in sales and sales management. He started his career at Harris Semiconductor where he completed a 12 month intense sales training program. He then went to Avnet where he spent over 18 years. During that time he held various sales management positions culminating with the role of managing two different global business units at Avnet. The business units were dedicated to Solectron and Cisco. He created the first global programming solution for all Cisco programmable products Worldwide. This was a complex global supply chain model involving 3 different contract manufacturing companies, 8 suppliers and 12 locations WW. Sales grew basically from zero to just over $60M in a little over 3 years. Under his direction and strategy, the Solectron business unit grew from $19M in 1998 to just over $500M by 2001.

Rick left Avnet in 2005 to become the V.P. of Corporate Development for Equitas Capital, a mortgage banking company in Northern California. He expanded the company from three offices to seven in the first 14 months. During his time in the mortgage industry, he became known as one of the most knowledgeable and dynamic public speakers in the industry. The CAR (California Association of Realtors), Thunderbird MBA Alumni Association and the San Jose Real Estate Investment Group have all been venues he has spoken at. Prior to Rick’s entrance into the private sector, he was a Nuclear Missile Launch Officer in the U.S.A.F.

Rick has a B.S degree in Business Management from Indiana Central University and MBA from University of North Dakota.
