Educational Background:Three years of college, majoring in Architecture. In 1975, received a grant from the State of Washington to write a book on the relocation of the town of North Bonneville. Published in the spring of 1975. Spent the next year on sabbatical in India researching the urban planning of ancient Indian Civilizations. Completed technical course in computer science focusing on hardware systems. Professional Background: Co-founded and is President of Plainfield’s Place Ltd., an Oregon Corporation, in 1977. Co-founded Plainfield Software and is currently acting President. Co-developed and implemented business software with a special emphasis on hardware systems. Designed and built custom kiosk systems for Plainfield and received design patents for kiosk system designs. Fourteen years of experience in designing and building computer systems to support custom software products. Excels in hardware phone support and troubleshooting techniques. Since 1992, Richard has headed sales and marketing for Plainfield Software, as well as hardware R&D developing hardware prototypes, testing and implementing. Richard became director of sales and marketing for Techspeed Inc. Portland Oregon in 2002 and has been the driving force in expanding Techspeed into a global company. |
