Rich has almost two decades of experience building businesses, increasing revenue, and expanding product families and market share for global companies in the mobile computing and communication industries. Rich’s expertise includes establishing companies in the high tech market, and developing successful business plans that lead to key strategic business relationships. Throughout his career, Rich has worked in senior marketing and management positions developing marketing, sales, product and distribution plans. Rich was recently the Senior Vice President and Co-Founder of Xplore Technologies® Corp. where he managed all facets of marketing and established the company as a leading provider of rugged Tablet PC computers. Rich’s marketing efforts increased sales revenue and market penetration, and positioned the company as a global engineering, manufacturing and marketer of rugged Tablet PC computing and integrated wireless systems. Prior to Xplore, Rich was the Vice President of Marketing for Global Data/Tellular where he led the company’s expansion throughout North America. Previously, Rich worked at Motorola where he was an integral part of a highly successful management team that launched Motorola’s Cellular Subscriber business in Canada. With exponential revenue and profit growth, this business unit created a sustainable market share leadership position. Rich also served on Motorola’s worldwide Advertising and Public Relations Forum.
