Richard Låftman holds a Master of Science in Metallurgy and Material Science from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. Richard has worked more than 20 years with financial and technical issues within the private enterprise, holding leading positions as well as being a consultant. Before joining SEK Financial Advisors AB he worked as partner and senior consultant at Dreber Lundkvist & Partners AB. Before that he worked as partner and consultant at Mysigma AB. In the beginning of the 1990’s, Richard worked as management consultant at Coopers & Lybrand Konsulter AB. Prior to that Richard was business area manager at ABB Financial Consulting AB.
During a major part of his career, Richard has worked as leader and has carried out a large number of complex and business crucial projects both in the private enterprise and in the public sector - concerning production, logistics, financial and operational efficiency and strategy and capital rationalization.
Richard’s career started at Sandvik where he worked as service engineer for the group’s foreign hard metal factories. After that he worked as production manager at Sandvik Hard Materials, as well as being responsible for marketing in Great Britain. Later he worked as production structure analyst at Electrolux, where he was responsible for a major project concerning the whole Electrolux group. |
