Mr. Hornstein brings 20 years of CPA experience and 10 years of experience as a member of the executive staff of public and non public companies. In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant, Hornstein also holds a JD from Duke University Law School and has 15 years of legal experience. Most recently, Hornstein was CFO and General Counsel for Elemental Security, a private company specializing in enterprise policy and risk management. Previously, Hornstein was CFO for OpenTV Corporation, a public interactive television software and services company, where he served as an advisor to the Board of Directors, was directly responsible for public disclosures and communications to investors, and increased the analyst coverage of the company six fold. Prior to OpenTV, Hornstein also served as CFO and General Counsel for Resonate, for which he led the million dollar company sale, and CFO and General Counsel for Believe, Inc., where he served as the lead negotiator for development agreements. Richard also served as General Counsel and SVP of Corporate Development for Network Associates, where he managed the company's global legal infrastructure and processes, and was responsible for negotiating and managing 22 merger and acquisition transactions with an aggregate value in excess of $3 billion. |
