As Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Chief Privacy Officer, Rich is responsible for overseeing all legal matters for Claria.
Prior to joining Claria, Rich was for almost four years Vice President and General Counsel of the Dublin, Ireland based Trintech Group plc, publicly traded on NASDAQ and in Germany. At Trintech, he was the company's first in-house lawyer and oversaw all legal matters for the company's European, South American and U.S. subsidiaries. Prior to Trintech, Rich was in private practice for almost 19 years, including nine years as a partner at Silicon Valley's Bergeson, Eliopoulos, Grady and Gray.
Rich has taught numerous seminars on law and technology, and has taught an antitrust course as an adjunct faculty member in the High Tech Law program at Santa Clara University Law School. Rich graduated summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa with a B.A.from Boston College and received his J.D. at Stanford Law School. Rich is licensed to practice law in California, Massachusetts, and Texas. |
