Richard Fox is currently the President and CEO of RFX Technologies, which he founded in June of 2001. He married his wife, Stacie, in June of 1995 and they have two beautiful children. Bradley was born in April, 2000 and their youngest, Blake, was born in June, 2003. Richard's love of computers began at a very young age. While in the 5th grade, he won 2nd place at the regional math fair for the program he created that computed area and volume. That was just the beginning of his long list of accomplishments. At his alma-mater, Trinity High School, he was President of the Computer Club, and received the Computer Science Award his senior year. Richard is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer in Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, and Windows 2003. He was one of the first 5,000 people to achieve the Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA). Richard has held the basic Microsoft Certified Professional title since 1998 and the MCSE since 1999. Since then he has completed many Microsoft Certifications including: MCSE: Security, MCSA: Security, MCSE: Messaging, MCSA: Messaging, MCDST (Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician), MCDBA (Microsoft Certified Database Administrator), and MCT (Microsoft Certified Trainer). He is also a Citrix-certified administrator, Certified Netware Administrator, Security Certified Network Professional, CompTIA A+, Network+, Linux+, and Security+. He has extensive experience in the networking field. And in his experiences, he has worked with just about every consumer and business operating system, including: DOS, UNIX, Linux, O/S2, MAC OS8, MAC OS9, MAC OSX, and Windows 3.1, 95, 98, NT, 2000, XP, and 2003. In fact in July 2004 he finished first place in Computer Operating Systems Open Event at the Future Business Leaders of America - Phi Beta Lambda National Leadership Conference in Denver, Colorado. At this same national competition he also took home second in Telecommunications. His skills include setup, configuration, trouble-shooting and administrating Novell server, Windows NT/2000/2003 Servers, Windows Small Business Server, Exchange Server, Microsoft SQL Server, and Oracle Servers. He has lots of experience implementing networks of all sizes and topologies. But Richard's years of experience really show off when he helps a user solve their computer issues or when a former student calls for help or advice. Richard has also been an instructor with the Sullivan University System since 1999, where he teaches Microsoft, A+, Network+ and Security Certified classes. He received his Bachelors of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) from Sullivan University in March, 2004 and is currently working on his Masters of Science in Managing Information Technology (MSMIT) and Masters of Business Administration (MBA). In his spare time, when he is not in front of the computer or working on increasing his thirst for knowledge, Richard enjoys spending time with his family. He also enjoys the occasional opportunity to hit the slopes on those cold winter days, and has already begun to share his love of skiing with his son, Bradley.
