Dr. Domanik's firm provides consulting services in product development, manufacturing, intellectual property management and technology transfer for medical and clinical diagnostic devices and instruments. Dr. Domanik served in senior management roles and as a consultant with a number of early-stage medical device companies in the Chicago area. During his 15 years with the Diagnostics Division of Abbott Laboratories, he managed a multi-department advanced technologies group responsible for the identifying and evaluating novel technologies, developing them to the product prototype stage and supporting their development into commercial products. He served in various roles including Senior Scientist, Laboratory Manager, and Senior System Engineer. He has over 20 issued patents and has publications in areas ranging from biophysics and environmental chemistry to optical engineering. |
