Richard Darer, vice president and chief financial officer, manages Gomez’s business and financial relationships both internally and externally with the investment community while identifying ways for Gomez to maintain continue its growth.Darer has more than 20 years of high-tech financial and operations experience. Prior to joining Gomez, Darer was VP, CFO at Unica where he helped that company grow revenue five fold in four years. In addition, he successfully led the company through two acquisitions and an initial public offering. Prior to joining Unica, Darer was EVP and chief financial officer for Modus Media International, a global provider of outsourced supply chain management solutions. He also led Gensym Corporation's finance team and played a key role in the successful IPO of White Pine Software, Inc. in l996. Previous financial and operations positions include Computervision Corporation and General Electric. Darer holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, an M.S. in industrial engineering from Northeastern University, and a B.S. in mathematics from the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn. |
