Mr. Alter serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer. He oversees all corporate operations, with primary focus on development the department he created in the 1970s to complement the existing brokerage and management divisions. During his tenure at Manekin, LLC, he has overseen the development of more than 10 million square feet of property throughout the Baltimore/Washington region, including the I-70 corridor and Northern Virginia. The portfolio - which includes suburban and urban, flex, industrial and retail facilities - is valued in excess of $750 million. He began his real estate career when he joined the firm in 1972 as a broker. He has held his current position since in 1987. |
