Mr. Roedel has served as a member of Luna's Board of Directors since September 2005 and is Chairman of the Board’s Audit and Compensation Committees. From 1985 through 2000, he was employed by BDO Seidman, LLC, as an Audit Partner, later being promoted to Managing Partner in Chicago; Managing Partner in New York in 1994; and, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer in 1999. In October of 2002, he joined the Board of Directors of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTWO) as Chairman of the Audit Committee and served in several capacities through June 2005, including Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Roedel is currently a member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Audit Committees of two NASDAQ-traded companies; Brightpoint, Inc. (CELL) and Dade Behring Holdings, Inc. (DADE), and a member of the Board of Directors of IHS, Inc. (NYSE: IHS). He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Audit Committee Members, Inc., a not-for-profit organization dedicated to strengthening the audit committee by developing best practices. Mr. Roedel holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Economics from The Ohio State University and is a Certified Public Accountant. |
