Richard Paar is responsible for the delivery of Certica’s solutions and services. He is a co-founder of Certica, with more than 30 years of information systems experience. Having consulted and lectured about data quality on five continents, Paar based the principles of Certica’s data certification methodology on the best practices learned during those engagements. Paar has a broad background in data modeling and data management for federal agencies and Fortune 2000 companies. Prior to the formation of Certica, Paar was a senior data quality consultant with data warehousing leaders Prism Solutions, Ardent Software and Informix Corporation. He led services engagements with data quality pioneer QDB Solutions in the mid-1990s, before its acquisition by Prism Solutions. Prior to QDB Solutions, Dick founded Square One Computer Consultants and held senior positions at Information Engineering Systems Corporation, Lightnet/Williams Telecommunications, and Emerson Electric Company. He holds a bachelor's degree from Clarkson College of Technology. |
