In Brief

Since 1990 Dr. Goldberg has been a senior clinical psychologist at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital and an associate psychologist at Massachusetts General Hospital. As an integral part of his work at the hospital, he teaches widely at local, regional, national, and international conferences on adjustment to chronic physical disability.

In October 2004 his clinical skills in working with patients with complex medical disorders was recognized by a nomination for the Schwartz Center Compassionate Caregiver of the Year Award.

He has published 68 scientific papers and two books on psychological aspects of chronic physical disabilities.
