Dick Rasmussen has served as Executive Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary of West Coast Bancorp and West Coast Bank since 2000. Prior to joining WCB, Dick’s legal experience includes 27 years with the U.S. Bancorp Law Division.
Dick’s academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science degree in finance with honors from the University of Oregon; Juris Doctorate with honors from the University of Oregon Law School; and a certificate with honors from Pacific Coast School of Banking.
Rasmussen’s community activities include the board of directors of the Portland Repertory Theatre and the Portland Area Council of Camp Fire, Inc; chair of the YMCA Metro Center Management Committee; and fundraising/audience development activities for the Oregon Symphony.
He has also been active on numerous professional boards, including chair of the Corporate Counsel Committee and Debtor/Creditor Section of the Oregon State Bar, member of the Executive Committee of the Business and Corporate Law Section of the Oregon State Bar, member of the Bank Counsel Committee of the American Bankers Association, and member of the Uniform Commercial Code Committee of the American Bar Association. |
