Richard M. Marotta is Executive Vice President and Group Head of the Asset Recovery Group at KeyCorp and is a member of its Executive Council. Richard is responsible for the restructure modification and disposition of all KeyCorp's troubled assets. In addition the Allowance for Loan and Lease Losses Asset Quality Reporting (10Q/10K) and Debtor in Possession lending (DIP) fall under Richard's review. Richard reports directly to Charles S. Hyle SEVP and Chief Risk Officer a member of KeyCorp's Executive Management Committee and Executive Council.
Richard and his teams work closely with all supported LOBs internal/external auditors and regulators to insure all troubled assets are properly structured rated and reserved. In addition assistance is provided to other areas as credit quality issues become known.
Previously Richard has served in numerous leadership positions in KeyCorp. He joined Key in 1985 as a Management Trainee and progressed through the credit/risk side of the company. Prior positions include: Regional Credit Officer (1988) Asset Based Leading Group Head (1991) Out of State Troubled Real Estate Head (1993) ARG Regional Head (1995) ARG Specialty Segment Head (2001) and his current position (2004).
Richard earned a B.S. with honors in Economics/Finance/Mathematics from Union College. In addition he has completed advanced management programs from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Wharton University. |
