Richard M. McVey has been Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of our Board of Directors since our inception. As an employee of J.P. Morgan & Co. one of our founding broker-dealers Mr. McVey was instrumental in the founding of MarketAxess in April 2000. Prior to founding MarketAxess Mr. McVey was Managing Director and Head of North America Fixed Income Sales at JPMorgan where he managed the institutional distribution of fixed-income securities to investors from 1996 until April 2000. In that capacity he was responsible for developing and maintaining senior client relationships across all market areas including fixed-income equities emerging markets foreign exchange and derivatives. From 1992 to 1996 Mr. McVey led JPMorgan's North America Futures and Options Business including institutional brokerage research operations finance and compliance. Mr. McVey received a B.A. in Finance from Miami (Ohio) University and an M.B.A. from Indiana University. |
