Richard L. Crandall, 62, serves as managing partner of Aspen Partners LLC, Aspen, Colo., a private equity firm. He was elected to Diebold’s board of directors in 1996. In addition, he is a director on a variety of boards, including Novell and the Dreman/Claymore Dividend and Income Fund.
Also, Crandall is chairman of the Enterprise Software Roundtable, Aspen, an organization which he founded in 1994 that consists of CEOs from the top 35 software firms. In addition, he serves as the software and services industry advisor to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
Crandall received bachelor’s degrees in electrical engineering and mathematics and a master’s degree in industrial engineering from The University of Michigan. |
