Richard Golab is a vice president and general counsel of the Crescendo Companies. He is responsible for all legal transactions involving the company’s two real estate development groups: Mid-America Development Partners, LLC (Mid-Am) and The Harp Group. He also supervises legal activities for Crescendo’s other entities: Portfolio Management, Mid-America Capital, Mid-America Development Services and Copa Chicago. In addition, Golab monitors outside counsel on a project-to-project basis. Golab previously served as an equity owner and partner at Schain, Burney, Ross & Citron in Chicago. In 18 years with the company, he represented clients in commercial and residential development transactions. He also was involved in the acquisition, financing, and sale of apartment complex portfolios across the country.Golab holds a bachelor of fine arts degree from Michigan State University, and a law degree from DePaul University. |
