Experience:
Richard spent 14 years in the construction industry as a Chartered Civil Engineer in the UK and in Hong Kong before being admitted as a Solicitor in Hong Kong.
He now specialises in construction law.
Richard is an associate of JSM.
Notable Engagements:
Acting for an International Main Contractor in respect of an EPC contract subject to ICC arbitration proceedings.
Acting for the HKSAR Government in respect of a global claim for delay.
Acting for an International Main Contractor against a Subcontractor's claims in respect of piling works.
Assisted in defending a specialist steelwork and cladding Subcontractor in respect of an alleged joint venture agreement.
Providing advice to a local Main Contractor.
