Richard B. Newman has served as a director of Telik since April 2003. He serves on the Board's compensation committee. Since 1983, Mr. Newman has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of D&R Products Co., Inc., which designs, develops and manufactures orthopedic, vascular and other surgical medical devices and instruments for major medical device and instrument manufacturers in the U.S. and Europe. He has extensive experience in acquiring and operating industrial, real estate and software businesses. Mr. Newman holds an A.B. from Harvard College and a LL.B. from Harvard Law School. |
