Dr. Murphy has over 30 years experience in the transportation industry and is internationally known for innovations in logistics decision support his work is published extensively in leading professional journals. Many of these technical developments form the basis of the proprietary algorithms employed by Integrated. In addition to being CEO, Rick provides thought leadership and is responsible for the strategic management of product development and business development. Prior to founding IDSC in 1990, Dr. Murphy held the following positions: Senior VP Technology, Schneider National Inc; President and Founder, Optimal Decision Systems Inc., Associate Professor(tenured) at the University of Cincinnati, and Senior Management Scientist at The Procter and Gamble Co.
