Richard A. Kohlberger is senior vice president, general counsel, chief administrative officer and corporate secretary of UST with responsibility for all legal and corporate administrative functions including safety, security and environmental, as well as corporate secretary matters.
Previously, he was senior vice president of UST with responsibility for the Company’s human resources and corporate administration departments, overseeing employee relations, safety and environmental affairs, organizational development, benefits, compensation, security and aviation.
Mr. Kohlberger joined the Company as a corporate attorney in 1978. He was named senior corporate attorney and assistant secretary in 1981, and in 1983 he was named assistant general counsel. In October 1985, he was elected a corporate vice president of the Company. Mr. Kohlberger served as vice president, deputy general counsel and assistant secretary of the Company from 1985 to 1990.
Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Kohlberger worked at Tishman East Management Corporation as director of risk management and assistant secretary.
He is a graduate of Rider College with a bachelor of science degree in management. He received his law degree from St. John's University in 1975 and is admitted to practice in New York, Connecticut and various federal courts. |
