OILspace's Chief Financial Officer Rhys Edwards has considerable experience in buying and integrating businesses, having formerly served as director of mergers and acquisitions at the UK arm of the $100m turnover TRM Corporation. While there he prepared a $150M bond offering, planned two acquisitions valued at £45m and identified further opportunities in the UK, US, Canada, Australia and South Africa. His tenure also saw the business turn around from losing cash and a $0.75 share price to becoming cash positive with shares at almost $20.
Previously he worked at CRM and telecoms company Information Management Associates where, as finance and operations director, he ran offices in the UK, France and Germany, and oversaw finances across Europe, Asia and the US. He was also with engineering group EIS as it grew from £80m turnover to over £550m and more than 90 companies worldwide. |
