Dr. Haque has served as our Vice President of Ophthalmic Clinical Research since October 2007. He brings to Inspire over 20 years of experience in the ophthalmology space, with extensive experience in planning and executing drug registration strategy, which includes creating clinical development plans, writing protocols, executing clinical trials, analyzing and interpreting data and delivering clinical portions of New Drug Applications (NDA) to the FDA. Previously, Dr. Haque was Head of Clinical Development & Medical Affairs at Johnson & Johnson Vision Care. Prior to that, Dr. Haque held various positions at Novartis Ophthalmic, Clinical Research and Development, including Director of Global Clinical Research and Director & Section Head, Front of the Eye in Global Clinical Development, as well as Associate Director-Global Clinical Research, Principal Clinical Research Physician and Sr. Clinical Research Physician. Dr. Haque received an M.D. from Dhaka University, Mymensingh Medical College, a D.O. from Dhaka University, National Institute of Ophthalmology and a Ph.D. in Ocular Pharmacology from Gifu University School of Medicine. Dr. Haque was also a Glaucoma Fellow at the National Eye Institute at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). |
