Rex E. Thompson is the Executive Vice President, COO and CFO at Trendium, Inc. From 1980 to 2004, Mr. Thompson served as Executive Vice President, Finance and Operations for Pepsi-Cola Bottling Co. of Ft. Lauderdale-Palm Beach, Inc. and its full-line vending arm, Diloreto & Sons. During Mr. Thompson’s tenure, he successfully developed and managed all finance, production, warehouse, fleet, IT, inventory, budgeting, and human resource aspects of this multi-location operation. From 2004 through 2006, Mr. Thompson functioned in a retained consulting capacity for Pepsi-Cola until joining Trendium in March 2006. Prior to and during his Pepsi-Cola tenure, Mr. Thompson concurrently served 35 years in the US Army and Florida Army National Guard. Before retiring as a Colonel, he held numerous command capacities (company, battalion and brigade) and staff-level (Director, Chief of Staff) positions in locations throughout the world. Mr. Thompson holds a BS in Finance from Niagara University, New York, an MBA from the University of California and an MS in Strategic Planning (MSSP) from the U.S. Army War College (Pennsylvania). Mr. Thompson has also served on the advisory boards of his local church, homeowners association, the Florida National Bank, and Wachovia Corporation (Palm Beach County, FL).
