Reed Krakoff is President, Executive Creative Director of Coach, and brings over thirteen years of senior design experience to the position. Mr. Krakoff has been recognized twice by the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) and awarded the coveted American Fashion Award for Accessories Designer of the Year for 2001 and 2004.
Prior to being named to his current post at Coach in 1999, Mr. Krakoff served as Senior Vice President and Executive Creative Director at Coach for two and a half years. In both positions, Mr. Krakoff led the creative renaissance at Coach that strengthened an already formidable brand image and contributed to increased sales of Coach products throughout the world.
Previously, Mr. Krakoff held the positions of Senior Vice President, Marketing, Design & Communications from 1993 to 1996, and Head Designer, Sportswear from 1992 to 1993, at Tommy Hilfiger USA, Inc. In the former position, Mr. Krakoff was responsible for all design aspects of the men's collection, as well as worldwide brand positioning and advertising.
Mr. Krakoff also served as a Senior Designer for Polo/Ralph Lauren from 1988 to 1992.
Mr. Krakoff holds an A.A.S. degree in Fashion Design from Parsons School of Design and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Art History from Tufts University. |
