RAYMOND F. CARDILLO, JR. has been special counsel in the firm's Electrical/Mechanical Practice Group since October 1996. His focus is electrical technologies. Specifically, he is experienced in a broad array of consumer electronic technologies such as video display systems, A/V processing technologies and encoding schemes, electromechanical assemblies and many other related technologies.
Further, Mr. Cardillo brings 29 years of experience in both ex parte and inter partes proceedings relative to his tenure in the United States Patent and Trademark Office ("PTO") as a former examiner, Supervisory Patent Examiner ("SPE"), and Administrative Patent Judge ("APJ") with the PTO Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences ("BPAI"). During his service with the PTO, he was the recipient of numerous awards, including a Bronze Medal from the PTO parent organization, the United States Department of Commerce.
Mr. Cardillo received his Law degree from American University, Washington College of Law, with American Jurisprudence Awards in Appellate Advocacy and Property Law. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Syracuse University.
Mr. Cardillo is admitted to the Virginia State Bar and is a member of it's Intellectual Property Section. |
