Mr. Schultz is Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of RES Investments LLC. He served as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Promus Hotel Corporation from August 1997 to December 1998 and as Chairman of Promus Hotel Corporation’s Executive Committee from December 1997 to December 1998. Mr. Schultz served as President, Chief Executive Officer and a director of Promus Hotel Corporation from April 1995 through August 1997. From 1993 to 1995, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Hotel Division of The Promus Companies Incorporated and was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Hampton Inn/Homewood Suites Hotel Division from 1991 to 1993. Mr. Schultz is a director of TBC Corporation (NASDAQ: TBCC) (Compensation Committee) and Choice Hotels International, Inc. (NYSE: CHH) (Audit Committee, Compensation Committee and Corporate Governance and Nomination Committee (Chairman)). Mr. Schultz has been a director of our company since December 1998. |
