With more than 30 years of executive positions in sales, marketing and management in recreational community development, Ray Jackson serves as the executive vice president of sales and marketing of Gencom's Western Region Ritz-Carlton Residence portfolio. Responsibilities currently include Ritz-Carlton Kapalua, Ritz-Carlton Rancho Mirage, and Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch. Prior to joining Gencom, Jackson served as Vice President Sales & Marketing with the Lyle Anderson Company at Hokuli`a, a 1550 acre luxury golf resort community on the Kona Coast of Hawaii where he was responsible for the launch of sales and marketing for this $1.5 billion Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course community. Before this, he served as Senior Vice President Sales & Marketing with Chaffin Light Associates at their 4400 acre conservation based Arnold Palmer Signature golf course development at Balsam Mountain Preserve near Asheville, North Carolina. At Bald Head Island, a 12,000 acre ferry access barrier island off the coast of North Carolina, Jackson served as Executive Director Sales & Marketing directing five sales centers and working closely with the principals and the Executive Committee to improve sales performance of the island real estate sales of fractional, whole ownership, and resales through new and improved sales and marketing programs. Jackson's career has been focused on sales training, the positioning, re-positioning, and sales improvement initiatives of recreational real estate developments. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences. Jackson graduated Clemson University with BS/Industrial Management and completed graduate work in real estate at the University of South Carolina and is a graduate of their Real Estate Institute. He and his wife reside in Kailua Kona, Hawaii. |
