Ray Cronin joined Intermec in January 2008. His main responsibility is to extend Intermec's RFID leadership. RFID is a central component of Intermec's future and Ray will lead Intermec's pioneering RFID team as RFID evolves from a technology to a worldwide market.
Ray is a seasoned executive with significant experience in the areas of corporate strategy and the commercialization of new technologies. Most recently, Ray was at Azimuth Systems, Inc. where, as Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors, he led the company from concept to one of the market leaders in the wireless LAN test equipment industry. Prior to his tenure at Azimuth Systems, Ray served in various senior management roles with several technology and electronics test companies.
Ray received a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an MBA degree from Harvard Business School. |
