Ray Groves joined the EDS Board of Directors on 07 June 1996. From 2001 to July 2005, he served in various roles at Marsh Inc. including president, chairman and senior advisor, and is a former member of the board of directors of its parent company, Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc.
Groves was chairman of Legg Mason Merchant Banking, Inc. from 1995 to 2001. He served as chairman and CEO of Ernst & Young for 17 years until his retirement in 1994.
Groves also serves as a member of the board of directors of Boston Scientific Corporation and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. He is a member and former chair of the board of directors of The Ohio State University Foundation and a member of the Dean's Business Advisory Council of the Fisher College of Business. Groves is a director on the Metropolitan Opera Association, Overstock.com, Inc., and a former member of the board for The Gillette Company and American Water Works Company, Inc. |
