Ravi Narayanan has over 20 years experience in the accounting and financial areas. He is particularly skilled in managing internal controls, project management, forecasting and budgeting, and has served as an expert to numerous manufacturing companies in overseeing distribution functions, coordinating customer relations and international relations, spearheading bank negotiation, and administering audits.
Ravi has served as Controller to a wide array of manufacturing and apparel organizations, where he managed all accounting, finance and administrative functions. Recently, Ravi was responsible for the accounting and finance departments of a major metals manufacturer, where he instituted a comprehensive reporting process to facilitate a pro-active approach towards improving sales and gross margin. Ravi also redesigned the Company's accounting procedures, refinanced several commercial and asset based loans, and streamlined risk management functions.
Ravi has superior knowledge in accounting software, specifically PLATINUM, REAL WORLD, used to comprise order entry, inventory control, sales analysis, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and purchasing.
Ravi has a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Madras and is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
