Prior to founding 1stWorks Corporation in 2000, Mr. Tomic was President of his own software development consultancy, OmegaPoint Inc., which specialized in Windows trapping technology, data encryption, compression and other real time control software. Prior to establishing Omegapoint, Mr. Tomic was a Senior Software Engineer at Microsystems Software, Inc., where he developed CodeRunner, the leading TSR development library, CaLANdar network based real time scheduling software and where he helped to create Cyber Patrol, the leading Internet content filter. Prior to MSI, Mr. Tomic was a Software Development Engineer at Alloy Computer Products where he wrote the RTNX and NTNX multiuser operating systems as well as other emulation software. Prior to joining Alloy, Mr Tomic was a Doctoral candidate and Research Assistant at Brown University, where he received a Masters degree in Theoretical Physics, in addition to a US Chess Federation Expert rating. Prior to Brown, Mr. Tomic earned a Masters degree in Quantum Theory and a Bachelors degree in Physics from the University of Belgrade. |
