Randy Shoemaker a graduate of Michigan State University with a BS in Zoology and MS degree in Human Physiology has been a professional philatelist for the past 32 years. He owned J. Randall Rare Stamps a leading outlet for superior quality Classic United States stamps 1970-1986. In 1987 he formed Professional Stamp Experts. A 32-year dealer-member of the American Philatelic Society Randy is considered one of the premiere experts on United States Classic stamps and plating of these issues. He is also instrumental in developing scientific equipment for authentication and repair detection in philately.
In October 1999 PSE was acquired by Collectors Universe. Randy has served as Director of Expertizing continually since 1999. |
