Randy Cantieni Biography :

You could say it was inevitable that Randy Cantieni would end up working on airplanes. Like father like son rings true - his father was a United Airlines Mechanic for over 37 years and Randy also worked for United Airlines for 17+ years. As Certified Aviation Services' San Francisco Station Manager, Randy has managed the growth there for the past three years. That's nearly four decades of aviation influence and passion! Randy said the greatest things about being an A&P Mechanic is being able to work hands-on with aircraft and fix all the different parts to allow such a big and heavy plane to fly safe and true. When asked what the greatest challenge in Aviation Maintenance is, Randy responded, "Trouble-shooting all the different potential issues. Planes fly in and we receive some information from the crew, but we have to determine the root cause, fix it, test it and get the plane back in the air fast and safe. "Randy's expertise is supported by the entire CAS team he manages in San Francisco consisting of over 20 A&P Mechanics servicing eight carriers regularly. Randy credits the entire team for being responsive, dedicated and committed to working as a team to fix the customer's aircrafts quickly and correctly. Certified Aviation Services' "can do" team attitude is one of the reasons that Randy decided to stay with CAS even when United Airlines recalled him. "There is a great group of mechanics working here," Randy shares and he is very proud of all their accomplishments as a team under his management. Randy's commitment to service is not only appreciated in San Francisco, but in our Field Support Office as well. "Randy is very quick to respond to business questions with great understanding of both the mechanical and business side of an issue so we can always find the right solutions for our customers," states Brad Cary, Senior Billing Editor. Randy's dedication to complete customer service from the time of the original service call to final billing shows his commitment to his customers and entire CAS team. Although aviation is a 24/7 demand, Randy enjoys spending time with his family. Married for over 18 years, Randy and his wife have three boys and two girls at home, ranging in age from 21 to 3 years old. He laughs heartily when speaking about his family and it's obvious they have a great -if busy! - household. Randy also enjoys camping, hunting and other outdoor adventures in his time off. Randy looks forward to the continued growth in Aviation Maintenance both for his crew in San Francisco and Certified Aviation Service's nationwide network. His passion, expertise and focus on safety and quality make him a huge asset to Certified Aviation Services and we're happy to have him on our team!.
