Randall Harris is currently Senior Vice President, Global Human Resources at Ciena Corporation. In this role, he is responsible for developing and implementing a human capital strategy that will meet Ciena's current and future people requirements on a global basis.
Prior to assuming this position in October 2007, Mr. Harris was Chief Human Resources Officer at O'Charley's, Inc. With over 30 years of strategic human resources and business planning/management experience across multiple Fortune 500 companies, Mr. Harris previously served as Senior Vice President, Human Resources at Nextel Communications, Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Sodexho Marriott Services, and Senior Vice President, Human Resources at Dun & Bradstreet. He also held human resources leadership positions at First Data Corporation, Avanti Communications Corporation and Sprint Corporation.
Mr. Harris currently serves on the Board of Directors for ACS Dataline. He holds a B.S. degree from the United States Naval Academy and a M.S. degree in Human Resources Management from The American University. |
