Randall M. Griffin (Rand) is President and Chief Executive Officer of Corporate Office Properties Trust. Mr. Griffin oversees all real estate operations, development and property management functions. Mr. Griffin's work experience includes 28 years of proven experience in the creation of real estate value through direct responsibilities in management, development, marketing and finance. From 1990-1993, Mr. Griffin was Vice President of Development for EuroDisney Development in Paris, France, where he managed and directed all non-theme park development for the 5,000-acre project. Mr. Griffin was formerly Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Linclay Corporation, a Midwest-based real estate firm active in urban and suburban commercial office, retail and industrial development, asset management and investment. He was with Linclay Corporation from 1976 -1990. Mr. Griffin is on the Board of Directors of The National Aquarium in Baltimore and is on the Board of Trustees of the Greater Washington Initiative. He is on the Board of Directors of the Maryland Business Roundtable for Education, the Board of Directors of the BWI Business Partnership, the Board of Visitors of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and the Board of Governors of NAREIT. Mr. Griffin earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Ohio Wesleyan University and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Harvard Business School. Mr. Griffin served as 1st Lieutenant in the United States Army. His professional affiliations include Urban Land Institute, NAIOP and NAREIT. |
