An experienced litigator and trial lawyer, Randy focuses his practice on product liability, business and commercial disputes. He has tried cases to juries in Minnesota, Texas, California, New York, Michigan, Oklahoma and Kansas.Randy has represented clients in all 50 states and internationally. He advises clients on product liability prevention, document creation and retention, compliance with industry and government regulations, and properly drafting and placing product warnings.Randy has extensive experience working with risk management and handling commercial insurance matters, including commercial coverage disputes and fraud claims. He has defended clients around the country under Commercial General Liability and Employment Practices Liability policies.For two years, Randy successfully managed more than 1,000 claims and litigated matters in the United States, Canada, Mexico, South America, Asia and Europe as Chief Litigation Counsel for a $7 billion division of a Fortune 100 company. He also planned and directed the division's litigation strategy and prevention efforts and represented the company in matters involving the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission, Underwriters Laboratories, and the Canadian Standards Association.Randy lectures on civil practice, product liability defenses, in-house litigation management, and product-safety design and warnings. |
