Mr. Stilley was named CEO and President of Hercules Offshore, Inc. in October 2004, where he is responsible for developing and executing the Company’s growth strategy. Mr. Stilley is a member of the Board of Directors of Hercules Offshore.
With nearly 30 years of experience in the oil services industry, Mr. Stilley has executive management, operations and technology expertise in working with oil and gas companies around the world. Prior to joining Hercules Offshore, Mr. Stilley served as CEO and President of Seitel, Inc., a Houston-based provider of seismic data and related geophysical services to the oil and gas industry. He also previously served as President of the Oilfield Services Division at Weatherford International, Inc. and held numerous executive positions at Halliburton Company, including Vice President-Asia/Pacific & China Region and Vice President-Technology, Products & Services.
A native of Marshall, Texas, Mr. Stilley holds a degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. During his career, Mr. Stilley, who is a registered professional engineer, has been active in the Society of Petroleum Engineers and in the Petroleum Equipment Suppliers Association’s Gulf Coast and Far East regions. He is also a member of the Energy Program Steering Committee at the Houston Technology Center. |
