He is the principle creative lead and consultant on all client engagements that include information architecture, usability, accessibility and visual design. Rand frequently speaks on clear design and the user experience and has lead high-profile for a diverse array of clients including National Geographic, Discovery and PBS. The recipient of several prestigious design awards, including, Webby Awards, Davey Awards and W3 Awards, Rand designed the first and largest music store on the Web, MusicBoulevard.com, after which he helped design David Bowie's first official website. Few designers have Rand's ability to strengthen a brand, clarify an interface, and engage the user through design.
