Mr. Tilley oversees ConAm’s Investment/Asset Management Group, which is responsible for providing the strategic direction for more than 9,000 apartment units owned by ConAm and its investment partners. The group’s responsibilities include property management oversight, monitoring property renovations, negotiating property sales, capital budget management, ensuring compliance with ownership/debt covenants and investor relations activities.

Mr. Tilley is a licensed securities principal and serves as the president of ConAm Securities, Inc., the broker/dealer responsible for ConAm’s limited partnership syndications. Duties include ensuring regulatory compliance and the preparation of private offering memorandums, financial projections, and partnership agreements in conjunction with the firm’s syndications.

Prior to assuming his current responsibilities, Mr. Tilley served as the director of accounting and treasurer for ConAm Management Corporation from 1980 to 1987. His duties included the oversight of ConAm’s accounting department, coordination with outside accountants for preparation of annual audits and tax returns and annually securing all forms of insurance needed for the company and the properties it managed. Prior to joining ConAm in 1980, Mr. Tilley served as a senior accountant for the firm now known as KPMG LLP.

Mr. Tilley has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from San Diego State University and is a certified public accountant.
