Ralf Suerken joined SoftBrands as Senior Vice President and General Manager, Manufacturing in May 2005. In this position Suerken is responsible for worldwide sales, service, support and product management. He reports to Randy Tofteland, SoftBrands president and chief operating officer.
Suerken most recently was chief operating officer of PRAGMATEK, which provides management consulting and SAP implementation services for the mid market. He also served as vice president Americas, services for Portal Software, Inc. Suerken also held positions at SAP America, as head of operations for business unit marketplaces Americas, and vice president of professional services.
Earlier in his career he served as chairman and chief executive officer of Itelligence Group, a systems integrator and SAP reseller, and chief executive officer of Baeumler Fahrzeugbau, a vehicle manufacturer. Suerken is a native of Germany and holds a degree in computer science from the University of Paderborn.
