Rafael Pinto leads Spaeth’s Spanish language training, one of the firm’s fastest growing areas. He has co-taught the firm’s copyrighted courses to companies wishing to utilize the firm’s renowned methodology in Spanish, including one of the world’s largest issuer of credit cards, the world’s largest construction and general contracting company and several candidates wishing to improve their media and presentation skills in Spanish. Rafael has an unusual depth of experience which makes him valuable to Spaeth clients. He is an experienced teacher, currently teaching computer science and Spanish at Brookhaven College, in Dallas, one of the country’s best recognized community college systems. And he has worked with two of the country’s largest banking institutions, Countrywide and GMAC as a loan officer and on developing bi-lingual seminars for first time home owners. In the latter job, Rafael has garnered recognition for his skills communicating information and instilling confidence. Rafael’s language skills are particularly valuable to Spaeth clients because there are many different kinds of Spanish, and because communicating in Spanish requires, in his words, structure and passion. Rafael teaches in basic Spanish, and also is comfortable with Spanish from South and Central America, Puerto Rico, and various regions in Mexico. He prides himself on being equally at home in the purest Spanish as well as the Chicano slang found in a number of American cities, and he points out that companies wishing to attract and keep Spanish speaking customers or to operate in Central and South American countries need to have a very sophisticated language program. Since the media culture in Spanish speaking countries and in the United States is changing rapidly, Rafael assists the firm’s clients who wish to be prepared for crises, to improve and polish the speaking skills of their executives and to communicate with all their important audiences.
