Ra’ed Elmurib is the vice president and general manager, Microprocessor Products Division at PMC-Sierra. Mr. Elmurib also oversees corporate business development and is responsible for strategic investments, partnerships, and acquisitions at PMC-Sierra. In 2006, he played a key role in the acquisitions of the Agilent storage semiconductor business and the Passave Fiber To The Home business and their subsequent integration into the Company. Previously, Mr. Elmurib was the Director of Sales for Asia Pacific and the Western U.S. where he oversaw the sales activities and managed the direct and channel sales force. Mr. Elmurib joined PMC-Sierra in 2000 as a Regional Sales Manager for the South West region. Prior to joining PMC-Sierra, Mr. Elmurib was the President of Unitec Sales, a manufacturer representative organization, and held various sales positions at ST Microelectronics. Mr. Elmurib holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Electronics from Cal State Polytechnic, Pomona and graduated with an MBA degree from Pepperdine University, Malibu. |
