Ms. McGuckian has a broad range of substantive legal experience and has litigated cases in state and federal trial and appellate courts, as well as in arbitration proceedings. She represents businesses ranging in size from small "mom and pops" to large, publicly traded companies in litigation arising from all aspects of their operations and represents banks in consumer finance and other commercial litigation matters, including class actions. Ms. McGuckian also represents clients in injunction actions, real estate title disputes and real estate transactions, in estate disputes, in the administration of estates and in complex family law matters. She serves as co-chair of the firm’s Consumer Financial Services Litigation Group and frequently is retained as local counsel in proceedings before the Montgomery County Circuit Court and the Southern Division of the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, where she served as law clerk to U.S. District Judge Deborah K. Chasanow.
