R. A. Edwards is president, chief executive officer and director of the First National Bank of Hutchinson. Before joining the Hutchinson bank, he served Douglas County Bank for six years as president and two years as vice president. Edwards is director and chairman of the board of Douglas County Bank and a director of Data Center Inc., Eisenhower Foundation, First National Bank of Hutchinson, Hutchinson Community College Foundation and Mitchellhill Seed Co. He is a trustee of the Davis Foundation and the University of Kansas Endowment. He is a member of the Kansas Natural Gas Advisory Board and the University of Kansas Business School Advisory Board. He is a 1968 graduate of the University of Kansas and received his MBA from KU in 1973.
