Pro Career:
Originally entered the NFL as an undrafted rookie free agent, signing with the Browns on 4/26/02. Was placed on injured reserve (leg) on 8/27/02 and was put on waivers by Cleveland on 9/12/03. Signed to the Bears practice squad on 9/16/03 and was elevated to the active roster on 11/14/03. Appeared in 21 games, with 16 starts in his three years with Chicago. Was allocated to NFL Europe in the spring of 2006 and played for the Frankfurt Galaxy. Signed by Carolina in 2006 but was released on 8/26/06 during training camp. Signed a one-year contract with the Cardinals on 4/15/07.
2006: Spent the spring in NFL Europe playing for the Frankfurt Galaxy signed by the Carolina Panthers on 7/31 but was released during training camp on 8/26. Spent the remainder of the season out of football.
2005: Appeared in four games for the Bears, primarily on special teams saw action as a reserved offensive lineman @ Min (1/1).
2004: Started the first 14 games for the Bears at left tackle helped lead RB Thomas Jones to 152 yards rushing and one TD while part of an offensive that allowed only one sack @ GB (9/19) appeared on special teams for the final two games of the season.
2003: Put on waivers by Cleveland on 9/12 and signed with the Bears practice squad on 9/16 where he spent the next seven games saw his first NFL action when he subbed for Mike Gandy at left tackle @ GB (12/7) started the next two games but spent the final contest on injured reserved due to a fractured fibula.
2002: After signing with the Browns as an undrafted free agent on 4/26, was placed on injured reserve (lung) on 8/27.
College:
Started all 35 contests on the offensive line during three seasons at North Carolina A&T (1999-2001) named to the all-Mid-Eastern Conference first team following senior season and was also selected as the conference’s Lineman-of-the-Year earned Sheridan Broadcasting Network Black College All-American selection as a senior.

First name is pronounced KA-seem was a four-year letterman in football at Jacksonville High School where he was all-conference from his sophomore through his senior year as a senior, was named the offensive lineman of the year for also was a four-year member of the track and field team, earning second in the state in the discus two years in a row played one year of basketball. |
