Preston Cunningham serves as our managing vice president of real estate development and his responsibilities include overseeing the underwriting, marketing, and negotiation processes related to all developments including land suitable for infill development.
Mr. Cunningham worked with The Howard Smith Company, Albritton Properties, and Community Bank and Trust prior to joining AmREIT. Mr. Cunningham has experience in commercial real estate underwriting, acquisitions, and the development of retail shopping centers.
Mr. Cunningham received a Bachelor of Business Administration in financial planning and services from Baylor University and graduated with his Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law. Mr. Cunningham is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, Urban Land Institute, and Texas Bar Association.
