Pierre Vassilev is an associate in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery UK LLP, based in its London office. Pierre is a member of the Corporate and Structured Finance Departments.
Pierre started his career working for the Finance Division of TOTAL, (oil business). He then participated in the financing of various industrial projects. As well as this Pierre served as director of some of TOTAL's affiliate companies.
In 2000 Pierre joined the corporate department of a prestigious law firm in Paris. He represented prominent international companies in respect of mergers and acquisitions deals. He was also involved in the corporate restructuring of leading accounting firms.
Over the last two years, Pierre focused on derivatives spending two years in in-house positions for major international investment banks in London. He then leveraged his in depth financial and technical skills to advise trading and selling desks on derivatives matters.
